How to play
The goal is to create a tile with the number 2048 on the 4x4 grid.
At the start, two tiles with the number 2 or 4 appear on random cells of the board.
On your turn, slide all tiles up, down, left or right; every tile moves as far as possible in the chosen direction until it hits the edge or another tile.
When two tiles with the same number collide during a move, they merge into a single tile whose number equals their sum, such as 2+2=4 or 4+4=8.
Each tile can merge only once per move, so the order and direction of your swipes significantly affect the result.
After every move, one new tile with the number 2 or 4 appears in a random empty cell on the board.
You lose the game when the grid is completely full and there are no available moves, meaning no adjacent tiles with the same number can be merged.
Think several steps ahead, keep higher tiles together and avoid filling the board with small numbers to maximize your chances of reaching 2048.
